The Conditions of Paradise: Azure Dream (Ruriiro no Yume) was released in English today from Seven Seas Entertainment. This is Morishima’s third anthology released in English as part of the Conditions of Paradise series.Originally released in 2009, this anthology contains seven short Yuri stories. Some of the chapters, such as the title story “Azure Dreams,” which follows a young woman and her coworker working to decide what to become after a one-night stand, are one-shots. Others, such as “Incomplete Jujoshi,” continue the stories of couples from Morishima’s other works, including other volumes in the English Conditions of Paradise label and Hanjuku Joshi.Akiko Morishima is one of the most prolific Yuri authors. She, a lesbian herself, has made manga and doujinshi for over 20 years and is considered a pioneer of the Yuri genre. Her works include Yurikuma Arashi (published as Yuri Bear Storm in English) and Hanjuku-Joshi.
