On June 21 Webtoon released a trailer for the third season of Color_LES’s fantasy Yuri comedy webcomic Mage & Demon Queen. The season will premier on Webtoon on June 23 with new episodes updated weekly.Mage & Demon Queen follows a young adventurer Malori, a brash and highly skilled mage with a huge crush on the mighty demon Queen Velverosa. Although Velverosa at first rebukes Malori’s frantic advances, she grows fond of the human over the course of the series.The second season ended with Malori and Velverosa getting together. Their happiness was brief, as they were swiftly attacked by a powerful summoned adventurer. The situation looked bleak, until Malori’s old master, Cecillia, teleported the two to safety. Now the three must find a way to heal Vel’s cursed wounds from the battle before it is too late. The events leading up to season three were summarized in the trailer.YuriMother caught up with Color_LES a few months ago and talked about what fans can expect in the new season (warning: contains minor spoilers). According to the author:Instead of the usual teasing and pining, readers can expect more lovey-dovey in season 3! Malori and Vel may have already affirmed their feelings for one another, but their time as a couple won’t be smooth. Aside from the hero out to kill Vel, Malori has to face Vel’s parents, as well as *spoiler*……….. her fiancé!
