Log Horizon author Mamare Touno’s legal issues aside, a third season of the anime has been announced following an almost five-year wait for fans. Airing in May 2020, it will adapt the Round Table Collapse arc from the light novels. Shinji Ishihara is returning to direct the new season at Studio DEEN, with the cast from season two also reprising their roles.
