Mobile Police Patlabor Reboot is an anime short that streamed exclusively in Japan in 2016. It is part of the Japan Animator Expo short streaming series created by Studio Khara. Directed by Yasuhiro Yoshiura, the short’s other creative staff includes screenwriter Kazunori Ito, mechanical designer Yutaka Izubuchi, character designer Naoyuki Asano and musical composer Kenji Kawai. The story focuses on three unnamed Tokyo police officers who are charged with stopping a rampaging labor.
