We are thrilled to announce that NOBE Tomizo, the lead actor of Laugh, Everyone!, will be joining us from Japan for the screening of this heartfelt drama at the Backstreet Cinema Series. His presence will make the Chicago premiere even more memorable, and we are deeply grateful for the effort he has made to be with us. NOBE Tomizo野辺富三Facebook / instagram / XBorn in Tokyo in 1968. From 2000 to 2004, he was a member of the Ninagawa Company Dash, a theater troupe founded by the late Yukio Ninagawa. He is currently active as a freelance actor.His major stage credits include Yukio Ninagawa’s productions of Chikamatsu Shinju Monogatari, Fickle, Truly Fickle 2001, Waiting 2001, The Threepenny Opera, Yotsuya Kaidan, Macbeth, Pericles, and Hamlet.His notable film appearances include Love, Tavern and Music (2018), O-guchi no Koi Hito (2019), THEATERS (2023), and And, Yuko II (2024).
