Meiji Gekken: 1874 transports viewers to the Meiji Era where plots abound, schemers are scheming and...historical fiction really leans into the fictional aspect at times.

Second Impressions – Yubisaki to Renren
There's the core of a very interesting character story here. I'm just not convinced that Yubisaki to Renren is the right series to tell it.

Yubisaki to Renren (A Sign of Affection) – 09
This boot camp looks suspiciously like glamping (and who the heck had all that gear?).

Yubisaki to Renren (A Sign of Affection) – 11
I'll go the mat on this one: Yubisaki no Renren acts much more like a seinen romance series than a shoujo one.

Yubisaki to Renren (A Sign of Affection) – 08
Shoujo or no, the vibe we're getting with Yubisaki to Renren has a classic seinen quality to it.

Yubisaki to Renren (A Sign of Affection) – 10
I'll freely admit that some of the conceptions I had about Yubisaki no Renren look like misconceptions now.
