Well friends, after last week’s reveal of Yuri!!! on ICE‘s skating spiritual successor, the inevitable has happened once again. It’s been announced that Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- is getting a second season in 2020. We have to admit, we were starting to think this wouldn’t happen after all. But it’s all set in stone for April next year, along with the return of staff and cast from season one. In the meantime, Japan can enjoy a special one-hour version of season one to be televised in January, while the show’s second OVA The Frozen Bonds screens in cinemas. The rest of us will just have to sit out the winter. But we can’t wait!
