Katsuhiro Otomo and manga artist Tadashi Matsumori (松森正) participated in a talk that took place today at 16:00 in Meiji University Liberty Tower as part of the exhibition OTOMO KATSUHIRO O SODATETA MANGA TACHI TEN (大友克洋を育てたマンガたち展) 'The manga works that nurtured Katsuhiro Otomo'.The venue lasted about an hour and a half and the main topic was Mitsuyoshi Sonoda's ( 園田 光慶) IRON MUSCLE (アイアン・マッスル), rental comics, the early days of manga, their amateur days, and their path to becoming professionals. Otona Miyamoto (宮本大人), professor at Meiji University's School of Global Japanese Studies and Yoshihiko Saito (斎藤 宜彦) staff leader at Meiji University's Yonezawa Yoshihiro Memorial Library also participated in the event.Official website: https://academy.meiji.jp/course/detail/7430
