FLAG is a TV series that aired exclusively in Japan from 2006-2007. Directed by Ryosuke Takahashi and Kazuo Terada, its creative team includes writer Toru Nozaki, mechanical designers Kazutaka Miyatake, Yasuhiro Moriki and Hideaki Kurakawa, character designers Kazuyoshi Takeuchi and musical composer Yoshihiro Ike. Told entirely through the perspective of cameras, the series focuses on Saeko Shirasu, a young war photojournalist whose photo of a UN flag in the fictional war-torn country of Uddiyana became a symbol of peace.
