On Wednesday, Funimation announced that it is producing an English dub of the television anime Adachi and Shimamura. The series, based on the light novel series of the same name by Hitoma Iruma, aired from October to December last year.The first episode of the English dub premiered on Thursday. It stars Megan Shipman as Adachi and Amanda Lee as Shimamura. Additional cast includes Monica Rail, Sarah Wiedenheft, and Sarah Williams.Adachi and Shimamura is a best selling series and has been serialized in Dengeki Bunko Magazine since 2013. The light novels are published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.The series also spawned two manga adaptations, the most recent of which, illustrated by Moke Yuzuhara, is serialized in Comic Dengki Daioh and licensed in English by Yen Press.You can watch Adachi and Shimamura English dub today on Funimation.
