The fourth volume in Hitoma Iruma’s Yuri light novel series Adachi and Shimamura was released in English on Tuesday by Seven Seas Entertainment. The book is available in both paperback and digital editions.Adachi and Shimamura follows the everyday life of delinquent students Sakura Adachi and Hougetsu Shimamura. Adachi starts to realize her feelings for Shimamura are more than just friendly.The publisher describes the fourth book: It’s spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and Adachi and Shimamura have been assigned to the same second-year class! Hooray! But now Shimamura’s making new friends―so where does that leave Adachi? Can she overcome her shyness to get Shimamura back, or will she lose all the progress she’s made? Perhaps a sleepover is in order! The series has spawned two manga adaptations, the most recent of which is illustrated by Moke Yuzuhara and currently runs in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh. Yen Press will publish the first volume of the manga later this month. An anime adaptation of Adachi and Shimamura aired in late 2020. The anime was directed by Satoshi Kuwabara at Tezuka Productions.
