On January 16, Yen Press announced that it had licensed Yuri shorts and illustration collection Farewell to My Alter for English release. The manga collects one-shots written by Nakatani Nio, the creator of Bloom Into You.Farewell to My Alter includes ten short stories, some Yuri others not, published in Dengeki Diaho, the Éclair Yuri anthologies, doujinshi by Nakatani, and one work produced exclusively for this collection. The image featured on the cover is from the title story, which follows a girl at the funeral of her identical twin sister. The volume also includes several insert illustrations by the author. Notably, several of the stories in the volume are already available in English in the Éclair anthologies, published by Yen Press.The manga was published by ASCII Media Works in February 2020 under the Dengeki Books label. Yen Press’ English edition will be available digitally and in print in June 2021.Nakatani Nio is a Japanese Yuri mangaka known for her bestselling series Bloom Into You. The series is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment, and spawned multiple anthologies, a light novel spinoff (both are also licensed by Seven Seas), a stage play, and a television anime series.Look forward to the English release of Farewell to My Alter in June 2021.
