The third and most recent episode of Yuri science fiction series Otherside Picnic featured an original story not found in the light novels. The story was written specifically for the tv anime by series creator Iori Miyazawa. The episode, entitled “Big-Head Village,” aired on January 18 in Japan, and is now streaming on Funimation.In the episode, Sorawo and Toriko set out into the Otherside again, this time with the goal of finding a house Toriko’s mentor, Satsuki, mentioned in the hopes of finding supplies. Otherside Picnic is directed by Takuya Satou at LIDEN Films and Felix Film. The series stars Yumiri Hanamori and Ai Kayano as the female leads, alongside Rina Hidaka and Miyu Tomita. The opening, “Minikui Ikimono” is performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks and the ending theme is “You & Me” by Miki Satiou.
