Healin' Good Precure Ep 3 Review: Cure Fontaine making a Splash!

Hi everyone! This is Episode 3 of Healin' Good Precure and after Chiyu discovered that Nodoka was talking to talking animals, she decided to probe further...Our episode begins with Nodoka and Rabirin going for a jog while Pegitan is still worrying about finding a human partner. As Shindoine boasts to the other two generals that she can do a better job in defeating Cure Grace, Nodoka dodged Chiyu's questions in class after the Megabyogen appeared in their school yesterday which make Chiyu even more suspicious of Nodoka. This could become a Meme...Latte also ran out of the house which got Pegitan in a panic state. (Nyatoran went off to find a human partner) Chiyu then found Latte in their school and brought to Nodoka's surprise. Nodoka again gave excuses about anything unusual and instead Chiyu decided to invite her to her home which is also an Onsen Inn. Why do I have a feeling that Chiyu's mother will be the subject of Doujin Artists?Chiyu introduced her mother Nao to Nodoka and brought her around the Inn. Chiyu even showed her a hot spring for pets which both Rabirin and Pegitan took a dip. Shindoine then found a Water Element Spirit in the water supply and corrupted into a Megabyogen. Chiyu could swear Nodoka was talking to the Mascots but both Rabirin and Pegitan took cover inside the hot spring. Chiyu overheard from her mother that there is something wrong with the water supply and went to take a look with a staff worker. The Megabyogen knocked the staff worker unconscious with its water cannon and Nodoka immediately transformed into Cure Grace in front of Chiyu. While battling the Megabyogen, a tree branch nearly hit Chiyu and Cure Grace took the blow for her. Chiyu saw Pegitan was worrying about Cure Grace and Rabirin and wish he could do something to help them. Chiyu asked him if she could help but Pegitan was worried that Chiyu might get hurt and he lacks confidence. Chiyu assured him that she will support him and their hands (hand and fins) resonate. Laser Scope! (No one can guess where that line came from the last time I asked in Episode 1. Another clue-From an 80s Toku Series)A Healing Stick and Water Element Bottle appeared and Chiyu and Pegitan transformed to Cure Fontaine! Shindoine was shocked that there is another Precure and Cure Fontaine managed to scan the Water Element Spirit's location inside the Megabyogen. Odaijin!Cure Fontaine then used her Special Attack- Precure Healing Stream and purified the Megabyogen. After Shindoine retreated and everything went back to normal, the Water Element Spirit gave some its energy to Latte and she recovered immediately.Later, Chiyu offered Pegitan to stay at her home and he agreed immediately. The two girls also started calling each other by their first name. Nyatoran arrived and was shocked that Pegitan has found a human partner which left him frustrated...I like this episode is focusing on Pegitan's self-esteem as he is worried that he might not find a human partner and started blaming himself if anything should go wrong. Chiyu instead was a good partner for him as she is helpful and even support Pegitan if he really needs some encouragement. Furthermore, it's been a while since we have a female lead who volunteered to become a Precure rather than the Mascot/Spirit asking for the human partner instead which is the case of most first appearance Cures. Cure Fontaine looked nice in her transformation. (Love how the white coat covers her!) The Precure Healing Stream is basically a giant water cannon which just punched a hole at a Megabyogen to save the Water Element Spirit. (And it is awesome!) No "Ara Ara" from Shindoine but from her conversation with the other generals, she claimed she has seen King Byogen's face and is infatuated with him. Furthermore, Daruizen mentioned all the generals which mean there might be more generals aside from the main three. Don't tell me Hinata is going all "Elymra" on Nyatoran since he is so cute and funny?So two down, one more to go for our three Cures to be together and when Latte is not feeling well, Chiyu suggested going to the local veterinarian clinic which is owned by Hinata's family. When Hinata found out the girls' secret identifies, Nyatoran offered her to be a Precure. How will it go in the end? Until then, see you in the next post!
