In 2012, Dylan Redwine was reported missing by his father, MarkRedwine, during a court-ordered visit to his home in La Plata County, Colorado. Dylan Redwine, 13, was murdered by his father, Mark, in November 2012 after the boy discovered lewd photosofthe man on his laptop and confronted him about them. During cross-examination, Cory Redwine said he sent copies ofthe compromising photos to his father in August 2012, while Dylan and MarkRedwine were alone on a trip together. Johnson said investigators found traces of Dylan's blood in Redwine's living room and a cadaver-sniffing dog alerted them to the smell of human remains in the back of Redwine's truck and on his clothing. MarkRedwine, 59, is on trial on charges of second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in the death of Dylan Redwine. The boy was reported missing on Nov. 19, 2012, while on a court-ordered Thanksgiving visit to his home outside the small southwestern city of Durango. MarkRedwine, 59, was accused of killing his son, Dylan, on the night of Nov. 18, 2012 after he had become enraged over the "compromising" photographs, newspaper The Denver Post reported, citing prosecutors.
