As of April 9, Walgreens had one drive-thru testingsite running and 15 preparing to open; CVS had three; Walmart had two; Rite Aid had one; Target had none. The drive-thru sites those retailers have opened are not all available to just anyone. Retailers are starting to open drive-thru COVID-19 testingsites to the public for the first time.Only five have opened so far — three by CVS, two from Walmart and one by Rite Aid. The slow start reflects the nation’s challenges when it comesto providing testing access. Rite Aid has 71 testingsites; it has 2,464 locations (2.9%). Walmart is hosting 180 testingsites among its 5,352 stores (3.4%). CVS has 986 testsites plus five "rapid result" locations across its 9,900 stores (10%). CVS' drive-throughtestingsites will be mostly in the Twin Cities — in Blaine, Bloomington, Coon Rapids, Eagan, Edina, Hastings, Maple Grove, Maplewood, Plymouth and St. With the additional 10 sites opening in Minnesota this week, CVS will have testingsites...
