"Aracely Henriquez" Pregnant Or Pregnancy Floyd News Shocks The City
This is not a picture of Henriquez. The photo appears on Instagram. But we won’t repost the image here because the it's not of Henriquez, and several of the details about the robbery are either made up or exaggerated. This Instagram post says George Floyd beat a pregnant woman, shich is false. The original police encounter back in May 2020 started with a certain report regarding an alleged $20 counterfeit bill that was passed at a certain store and not Floyd's alleged criminal history that led to his death. PolitiFact reported that the Instagram post fabricated claims about the robbery. The photo is not of Henriquez but Andrea Sicignano, an American student who was assaulted and raped in Madrid in 2018. “AracelyHenriquez was the woman kidnapped and brutally beaten by George #Floyd and his five accomplices, as they searched her home for drugs and money,” the text reads. A meme misrepresents a 2007 criminal case in Houston involving George Floyd. The meme distorts the details of Floyd’s case and includes a photo of a woman who was badly injured in an unrelated attack in Spain in 2018.
