In this episode of Boku No Stop! we discuss episodes 1-3 of Monster. We begin a new season with something unlike the shows we've covered so far: Naoki Urasawa's Monster. A crime thriller period piece, it follows Dr. Kenzo Tenma, a Japanese doctor in Germany, as he finds himself drawn into a web of politics, murder, and deceit that threatens to swallow him alive. But at this point in the story he's just a naive 20-something who's colorblind to the concept of a woman made out of red flags. Show Notes The opening theme to Monster (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msTB5r8nUHU), Grain, compared to... Transiente, by Quilapayun (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdgMBx3gZCo). I later found out that it wasn't the opening, this was used in the anime at a certain scene (in the Japanese broadcast only, never internationally). It's still good!
